Claude Montana, born in Paris in 1949, when times were challenging everywhere in Europe's post World War II era.

Growing up with a German mother and a Spanish father he was exposed to a household with two very different influences – Latin on the one hand, Germanic on the other.

"I feel Wagnerian. My blood is an explosive mix, half Spanish, half German, and it's a mix that translates into dramatic forms." How he once described himself.

A skyrocketed and glamorous career in the world of fashion began in the early 70's and is still lasting decades after.

Never running out of energy, innovation and passion he opened a private design studio in Paris, 1990. In his studio he has been solely focusing in jewelry and watches.

In 2003 he expanded his global reach by opening a studio in Spain and Germany.

The watch collections were another of Claude Montana's iconic designs.
